El Gouna, Red Sea Coast · An Oasis Retreat Since 1994

El Gouna · Red Sea Desert Coast

Where the desert exhales

A sanctuary of shaded courtyards, still pools, and rooms that open to palm light—an oasis retreat that unfolds gently into the evening.

An oasis, not an arrival gate

Oasis Veil sits within the dunes of El Gouna, where the Red Sea desert softens into lagoon water and date palms frame every path. There are no grand processions here—only the quiet pleasure of shade, breeze, and time slowing down.

Guests pass through a palm-lined courtyard before reaching reception. Mint tea arrives unbidden. Your room key is offered on a woven tray. The architecture curves with the land rather than commanding it.

Water, shade, and stillness

The main pool curves through the central courtyard like a natural spring—shallow at the edges, deep enough to float beneath the palms. Cabanas line the far bank; service arrives without being summoned.

Below the terrace, the Veil Spa offers hammam rituals, desert-clay body treatments, and a quiet thermal suite. Appointments are unhurried; therapists work in pairs for the signature four-hand massage.

The Palm Court Kitchen

Chef Layla Mansour draws on Red Sea seafood, Sinai herbs, and slow-cooked Egyptian traditions. Tables are set beneath the palms in the inner courtyard; on cooler evenings, dinner moves to the lantern-lit terrace.

Breakfast is a quiet affair—fresh dates, labneh, flatbread baked on the terrace oven. Dinner service begins at 7:30 PM. No dress code at lunch; smart casual for evening service.

The day yields to evening

The Dune Lounge opens at sunset with a cocktail list built around desert botanicals—hibiscus, rose, frankincense, and citrus from the Nile delta. Live oud on Fridays; quiet conversation every other night.

For guests who wish to linger, our in-house salon offers an intimate gaming room beneath the main pavilion—soft light, low voices, and the same unhurried hospitality that defines the day. Discover the Casino.
